Arrival in Leh | Acclimatization (11,500 ft)
Arrive at Leh Airport, private pickup and transfer to hotel. Dedicated rest for mandatory high-altitude acclimatization. Evening stroll to Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa for sunset over Leh valley. Tip: Hydrate well, walk slowly, avoid heavy exertion.
Leh – Sham Valley Tour till Sangam (~70 km)
After breakfast, embark on the scenic Sham Valley excursion. Visit Spituk Monastery, Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, experience the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill, and marvel at the Sangam confluence of Indus & Zanskar rivers.
Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (17,982 ft) (~160 km)
Drive across the world-famous Khardung La Pass into the spectacular Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery with its majestic 106 ft Maitreya Buddha statue and explore the white sand dunes of Hunder with double-humped camel rides (optional).
Nubra – Turtuk & Thang Village Excursion (~160 km)
Excursion to Turtuk, a historic Balti village opened to travelers in 2010, and Thang, India's northernmost border village overlooking the LOC. Discover traditional apricot orchards, stone houses, and rich Balti heritage.
Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route (~170 km)
Scenic drive along the rugged Shyok Valley to the world-famous Pangong Tso (14,270 ft). Witness the enchanting color-shifting waters of the high-altitude saltwater lake. Relax and enjoy a romantic sunset by the lake.
Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft) (~160 km)
Experience an unforgettable sunrise over Pangong Lake, then journey back across Chang La Pass. Enroute, visit Hemis Monastery (largest in Ladakh), Thiksey Monastery, and Shey Palace before reaching Leh in the evening.
